2008 Chrysler Legislative Goals

• Promote rational energy and climate change policies.

• Advocate for rules in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and National Highway
  Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) consistent with the 2007 Energy Bill.

• Maintain a national, uniform CO2 standard for autos.

• Support development of low-carbon fuels.

• Support economic proposals promoting auto sales and corporate cost savings.

• Seek tax extensions/advantages for research and development spending.

• Advocate for health care cost reductions.

• Support international sales growth through free trade agreements and lower tariffs.
